Purps Enter Into Deal With Harrow Sports

With the team in the midst of great winning streak and fresh of the 9-3 victory over cross town rival #24 University of Buffalo, the good news continues for the Purple Eagles.

After several weeks of work, the Niagara University ACHA hockey team is pleased to announce that they have entered into an agreement for Harrow Sports to be the official equipment provider of the Purple Eagles.

Coach Brzeczkowski today broke the news.

The teams’ agreement will be to use Harrow to supply all of the teams gloves, pant shells, custom warm up suits, and practice jerseys to the Purps. Finally, the team will purchase new socks with “NU” embroidered on the leg and provide Harrow hockey bags with the team logo.

These items will be provided absolutely free of cost to all players.

The teams’ gloves will be custom produced to incorporate the Purple Eagles’ colors. Each glove will also have the players’ number embroidered on them. The teams pant shells will also be custom made to incorporate the teams colors and will feature the team logo predominantly on one thigh.

As part of the deal, players will also be able to purchase to one-piece sticks, shafts, and blades at a significantly reduced “team” rate throughout the season and off season.

Harrow has agreed to put on a stick demonstration at the start of training camp next year. This will allow each player to customize their sticks and curves to their suiting.

Through out the course of the season all Niagara players will be given access to other equipment and gear at the “team” rate. This will include items such as hoodies and sweatpants in conjunction with miscellaneous items that hockey players require.

This major financial investment will be a long-term commitment between the Eagles and Harrow Sports who is the official equipment provider of the ACHA.

Coach Brzeczkowski said of the deal Tuesday evening “we are very happy to be working with Harrow and happy that we will be able to provide our players access to great equipment through Harrow…We put a lot of thought and consideration into what company to use and what to get and we think we really made the best decision for our team and players. It is going to be great to provide equipment for the team and save players a good deal of money on their stick purchases as well.”

The team will also continue their strong relationship with Island Screenprint. Island Screenprint will continue to provide all of the Purple Eagles with team hats, shorts, t-shirts, and warm up apparel. These items are also provided to all players free of cost.
